Protect yourself from phishing and spoofed email

Once in a while, you might receive emails that appear to be from Be The Dealer Casino, but in fact, they are from an untrustworthy source and could put you at risk. This is referred to as spoofed email. Spoofed emails sometimes are delivered even from a valid Be The Dealer email address. Many of them ask you to click a link to a false website and enter personal information such as your Be The Dealer username, password or credit card details. This is referred to as a phishing attack; an attempt to steal your personal information and, later use it in acts of fraud. To tempt you, they may suggest that there is an urgent issue with your account.

How to identify a spoofed email

The email may describe a serious issue with your Be The Dealer Casino account. For example: Your account will be cancelled or restricted if you do not respond. You will be requested to confirm your account details by clicking on a link within the email. The embedded link looks genuine because it could contain Be The Dealer Casino images and the general look and feel of a real Be the Dealer Casino website. The site may also appear to be hosted on the "www.BeTheDealer.com" domain. There may be obvious writing errors or misspelt words. These errors will help spoofed email pass through various spam and junk filters.

How to protect yourself

We advise that you do not click on any links in emails sent unsolicited, even if you do not enter or complete the personal information fields requested, just by clicking on the links can make your computer exposed to background installations of key logging software or viruses. Be The Dealer Casino will never ask you to verify your personal account information in this manner. You should never "unsubscribe": Do not follow instructions in unsolicited emails that suggest that you "unsubscribe" from a mailing list. Spoofers do use this process to create lists of email addresses which are active. Keep track of your Be The Dealer Casino account: Visit your "Transaction History" frequently from the Be The Dealer Casino Cashier. If you see unrecognizable transactions or suspect fraudulent use of your account, please contact us as soon as possible via email: or via our Live Chat function accessible from the Casino software.
